Sporting Tunic - French Gentleman's Shirting 1900-1950

$1,528.00

Light blue and white striped French cotton sporting tunic. This tunic starts with a roomy sporty silhouette but by adding cinches to the waist and arms, as well as subtle pleats down the front, it transforms into a feminine silhouette. I like to accentuate my waist, but you do you! Victorian-era pearl buckles at the lower back and on each sleeve allow you to change the silhouette by cinching or releasing. A casual piece dressed up or down easily by accessorizing!

Fabric

1900-1950 French Gentleman’s shirting. Purchased as a de-accession from the Musée des ornements de la Femme in Faucigny, France.

Buttons + Buckles

Late 1800s Victorian pearl buckles.
